Carl was born in Stillwater, MN to Walter and Helen Reichow. Walter and Helen had seven children; Alfred, Richard, Robert, Rodger, Carol, Carl and David.
Carl enlisted in the Army in 1962, attended basic training at Fort Leonard Wood, MO. He was stationed at the Rocky Mountain Arsenal until 1965, proudly serving his country.
In 1964 he went on a blind date with a young beautiful amazing woman and found the love of his life, Dorothy Baker. They married in the summer of 1965.
In 1966 Carl started with United Airlines, as a ramp serviceman, and moved to Chicago with his wife. A year later he transferred back to Denver before they started their family. They had two daughters, Debbie and Candy. He retired from United Airlines as a building maintenance mechanic, after 38 years of service.
Carl had many interests in his life. He enjoyed fishing, camping, boating, wood working and hunting, but what he loved doing the most was spending time with his family. He was a member of the Masons, Consistory, El Jebel Shrine, International Association of Machinist & Aerospace Workers and Colorado Carvers Club.
He is survived by his wife Dorothy. Daughters Debbie Wegener (Paul) and Candy Powers (Terry). Grandchildren Jessica Wegener, Lucas Wegener and Cody Powers. Also his siblings Robert Reichow (Karen), Carol Strong (Bob), David Reichow (Sandy) and numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his father and mother Walter and Helen Reichow. Brothers Alfred Reichow, Richard Reichow, and Rodger Reichow. Also his granddaughter Brianna Powers.
He was a loving and caring husband, father and grandfather. Carl touched so many lives and will be truly missed.
A memorial service will be held Friday, March 3, 2017 at 1630 (4:30 pm).
