William G. Frangis of Elizabeth, Colorado, entered eternal life at the age of 75, on October 14th, 2020. William was born on February 13th, 1945, in Detroit, Michigan. William dedicated most of his adult life to serving his country and his community. He served as an Artilleryman for the United States Army. Following the Army, he joined the police force in Detroit, Michigan, where he met his wife, Mary. William moved on from the police department and served as a Federal ATF Agent for over twenty years. After retiring as an Agent, he served two terms as local county Sherriff.
William was a family man and an avid outdoorsman with a passion for hunting, fishing, and camping. He loved the Colorado mountains and had great respect for nature.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Mary Frangis. Together they have two daughters Rachel and Kathryn, three grandchildren, Alexis Jane, Cadence Layne, and William Chase.
Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial service at 3 p.m. on December 2nd, 2020, at Pikes Peak National Cemetary in Colorado Springs, CO.
