Wayne Johnson Obituary

Wayne Paul Johnson, age 81, passed away on May 29th, 2022 at home in Bennett, CO.  Wayne was born in Lemay, Missouri on November 29, 1940 to William Paul and Tommie Johnson.  He was the youngest of 3 children, brother to Norma and Roger.

For 33 years, Wayne was a local Teamster semi truck driver in St. Louis, Missouri.  He was blessed to retire at age 52.  Wayne enjoyed working in his yard, taking great pride in how well it looked.  He also enjoyed playing video poker at the casino, tinkering in his garage, spending time with his family, and catching every episode of any paranormal or ghost adventures show ever made.

He met and married his beautiful bride Judith Adams within 3 months on June 4, 1961 in St. Louis Missouri.  The hardest thing or him was having to spend the last 8 years without her since her passing in 2014.

We find peace in his passing knowing they are together again and they have been reunited days before what would have been their 61st wedding anniversary.  Wayne was a loving husband to Judy, wonderful father to Kelly Johnson Hughes, Robin (Jimmy) Pounds, Nicole (Billie) Johnson.  He was a grandfather to Elizabeth (Beau) Briggs, Tyler Jordan, Emily (Danny) Shy, Samantha (Roger) Moore, and Alexander Jordan.  Wayne was also a great-grandfather to Mason and Lane Briggs, Bradley Frosy, Cheyenne and Clifford Moore, and Isaiah Shy.

Wayne was proud of all his girls.  He was proud of being debt-free and maintaining an 850 FICO score.  He left every place he visited more beautiful than when he arrived; that is a special gift.  Wayne was an amazing, loving, caring, good hearted, and most of GOOD MAN, who would help anyone anytime he could.

We were blessed to be the daughters of Wayne and Judy Johnson
