Ted H. Ganyard, Jr., born in Coral Gables, Florida, February 24, 1930, passed away on August 7, 2022 at his home in Parker, Colorado. He is survived by Kathy Ganyard, his wife of 65 years, his sons Ted H. Ganyard III (Elaine), Gregory L. Ganyard, Brett H. Ganyard (Laura), and two grandsons Dylan and Brandon. He was predeceased by his father, Ted H. Ganyard, Sr., his mother, Esther M. Ganyard, his brother, Norman Ganyard, a number of nieces and nephews, and his first two sons, both having passed away shortly after birth.
Ted served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, and later as a scoutmaster with the Boy Scouts of America. He always sought to please God and was active with his local churches, singing in the choir, participating as deacon, and serving as president of the Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship of the Pasadena, Texas chapter.
In 1987, Ted and Kathy started Cable Tech Sling & Supply Co. in Denver, Colorado. Soon afterward, each of their three sons became a part of the family business.
RV camping and traveling with family and friends was one of his favorite activities. Later years included various cruises around the world including several trips to Europe. These trips provided moments of great fellowship and were the source of many beautiful memories.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, August 27, 2022 at Pinecrest Community Church, 7165 N Delbert Road, at 11:00 A.M., Parker, Colorado.
