Steve Lorenz Tarr, age 70, of Parker, CO passed away unexpectedly June 5, 2018. At the time of his death Steve was doing what he loved, fishing with his son at Tarryall Reservoir. Steve was born January 23, 1948 in Offenbach, Germany where his parents were stationed with the military. Steve came to Colorado and attended school at the Denver Technological Center, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering. He was also in the United States Air Force and was a product service manager for Montgomery Ward from 1968-1998. On December 4, 1970, Steve married the love of his life, Mrs. Jenice Tarr in a lovely ceremony at the Peterson Air Force Base Chapel. Steve loved fishing, camping and wood crafting. Steve is survived by his wife, Jenice Tarr, Parker, CO; sons Raymond (Carolyn) Tarr, Franktown, CO and Steve P (Kelly) Tarr, Parker, CO; brother, Lothar Nitzsche, Germany; grandchildren Jacob, Christian, Emily, Brennan and Asher; great-granddaughter Ellie Haas and many nieces and nephews. Steve was predeceased by his mother and father, Steve and Louise Tarr, his second parents, George and Jean Raymond, sister Gerlinde Tarr and brother Jim Tarr.
