Sharon Turpin, 81, of Aurora, Colorado, was called home to the Lord on Monday, November 9, 2020.
She was born November 18, 1938 to Robert and Bernice Trenholm Becktell in Sterling, Illinois. Sharon spent her childhood in Illinois and Southern California. She graduated from Pomona High School in 1956. She married Victor Turpin, May 21, 1956. They remained married for 56 years, before his death in 2012. Sharon raised her family in Littleton, Colorado. She spent her adult life living in Northern California, Palm Desert, California and Green Valley, Arizona. Sharon returned to Colorado in 2014 where she remained until her death.
Sharon worked in numerous administrative jobs and had a reputation for being the grand organizer. She was a lover of all animals, treasured every second with her family, and would bend anyone’s ear to talk politics. Sharon loved America, anything with bling, and really loved to brag about her family. She was a fan of shopping, church, Mahjong, and word games. Sharon valued her friends. She was dearly loved by her family and will be greatly missed.
Sharon was preceded in death by her husband Victor Turpin and son Mark Turpin. She is survived by her children; Jeffrey Turpin, Vickie (David) Mallon, Valerie (Brian) Ackman: grandchildren, Jeffrey Jr., Kelsie (Joe) Caprioglio, Lindsay Mallon and John Mallon: great grandchildren, Colt, Callen and Kinslie Caprioglio.
Sharon spent her last years with her companion, Carl Isadore. Special thanks to Carl, Julie, Steve, Nancy, Keely, and Kyle for the unwavering support and love. She loved you all very much.
Arrangements for Sharon took place at Parker Funeral Home and Crematory, Parker, Colorado.
