Sharon Roth

Sharon Roth (Sharp), 70, of Parker, Colorado, passed away peacefully Friday, January 8th, 2021 at her home. She is formerly of Troy, Illinois.

She was born June, 28th, 1950 in East St. Louis, IL, to Joseph and Imogene (Upton) Sharp.  She attended East St. Louis Senior High School (a proud Flyer) and began working at Southwestern Bell at the age of 17.  She retired from Southwestern Bell and after a brief stint in retirement she went back to work at the May Company until she retired again.  Sharon then moved to Parker, Colorado to be with her grandchildren.

Sharon is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Imogene Sharp, her husband Clark Roth, her sister Betty Sharp and her brother Joseph Sharp.

Survivors include, her son Thomas (Katie) Roth, grandchildren Olivia and Carter, all of Parker, Colorado and her brother Robert Sharp.

Sharon loved her family and friends.  She was relentlessly positive even when facing and beating advanced stage cancer in her early 40s and countless other significant ailments that followed.  She gave all of herself to everything she did from her work to her only child, Tom, and later to her grandchildren who she adored.

Per her request, Rites of Cremation have been accorded and services will be at a later date in 2021.

Instead of memorials or donations, Sharon would want to you pass on kindness to someone else and be a bright light in their world, as she was to so many.  Sharon will be greatly missed.
