Ronald Winfield Lotman, 73, entered his eternal home September 8, 2020. He was born January 27, 1947 to Winfield and Betty (Reffner) Lotman. Born in Roaring Springs, PA, Ron grew up in Phoenix, AZ.
Ron joined the US Army and proudly served his country during the Vietnam War with the 25th infantry division (Artillery) as a sergeant. While serving his country in Vietnam he was awarded a Purple Heart.
After graduating with an Associates Degree in Accounting, Ron married Sharon Condie, the love of his life, on April 1,1972 and moved to Colorado. He spent a number of years as a truck driver before finishing out his career as Supervisor of ground crew at Denver International Airport. When he wasn't busy working, you would find him spending time with his family, working on home projects, building model airplanes, fishing, hunting and spending time outdoors. Above all else, Ron loved his family and looked forward to attending family reunions. Ron was a FAMILY man, loving, always cheerful, strong, persistent and God fearing. He will always be loved, cherished, honored and forever missed. His legacy lives on through his children and grandchildren. Until we meet again. Love you more!
Ron leaves to cherish his memory is loving wife of 47 years Sharon; son, Ryan (Kim) Lotman; daughter, Tara (Todd) Nordstrom; grandchildren Tanner, Tatelyn, Garrett, Tessa Trinity, Hunter, Jaxson; brother, Wayne (Annette) Lotman; sister, Dedra (Luke) Thompson. He was preceded in death by his father Marion and mother Betty Lou.
Graveside service at Fort Logan National Cemetery, 9:30 A.M., Wednesday, September 16, 2020. Please meet at Staging Area B no later than 9:15 A.M. Masks are required during the service.
