Raymond (Ray) Allen Church

Raymond Allen Church was born January 12, 1949 to Thelma Church in Torrence, CA. He attended Carson High School. On July 12, 1968, Ray was united in marriage to Pam Herzberg, and to this union, two children were born. Ray enlisted in the United States Marine Corps on April 14, 1966 where he served 20 years and retired in 1986. After his retirement, he worked several years at US West and finally retired a second time from Lockheed Martin in April, 2012. His hobbies included fishing, camping and riding his Harley Davidson whenever he had the chance. He also rode with the Patriot Guard and Freedom Riders. Ray is survived by his wife, Pam; two daughters, Denise (Jim) of Castle Rock, Sheri Abbott (Nikk) of Kona, Hawaii; his older brother, Jerry (Cher) and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Thelma, sister Bobby (Barbara), and brothers Rob and Clyde Jr.
