Raymond Joseph Zullo

Raymond Joseph Zullo, age 61, of Elizabeth, CO passed away with his loving wife Estelle (Chris) by his side. Born December 9, 1956 in Denver, CO Raymond attended West High School, graduating in 1975. Raymond spent 6 years in the United States Air Force, then went on to spend 32 years of dedicated service with the Denver Sheriff’s Department. As of September 2018, Raymond would have been married to Chris for 41 years. Chris, who he referred to as “Mom”, was the love of Raymond’s life. Raymond loved the outdoors, mostly in the mountains of Colorado where the creek beds run. He loved his motorcycle and taking rides with Chris. Raymond was an enthusiastic animal lover. He showed his bull terriers for 14 years, enjoying every second on the show floor. Raymond thought birds and dogs were the best. He loved his family and worked so hard to provide for them. He worried every day about making sure they were safe and loved. He was a devoted employee, a salt of the earth type of guy. Raymond believed you work for the job, work for the family and put food in their bellies and a roof over their heads. Raymond enjoyed watching historical programs about Vikings, warriors, Gladiators and aliens. His favorite movies were war movies and movies about history. Although he got emotional and shed a tear over the movie, A River Runs Through It was one of his favorites. His favorite actors were Clint Eastwood, Liam Neeson, Tom Cruise and John Wayne. Raymond was also an avid reader. Raymond is survived by his wife, Estelle (Chris) Zullo, Elizabeth, CO; daughters Raenon Zullo, Elizabeth, CO and Megan (William) Zullo-Sedberry, Colorado Springs, CO; grandsons Nathan Zullo (age 15) and twins Gary and William Zullo; and granddaughters Maya Sedberry and Meliyah Sedberry.
