Matthew "Matt" Daniel Vork

Matthew Daniel Vork, fondly known as Matt to all of his family and friends, of Aurora, passed away on April 10, 2019 at Denver Hospice in Denver, CO, he was 45 years old.  He was born on March 14, 1974 in St. Louis Park, MN, the son of Daniel and Laura Vork.  

In 1992, Matt graduated from Ponderosa High School, Parker, CO.  He later attended Western State Colorado University, Gunnison, CO and graduated in 1999 with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration.

He worked in retail and also in Water Management, public and industrial with Parker Water and Lockheed Martin Space Systems.

He belonged to the National Eagle Scout Association and was a Certified White Water Rafting Guide.  He enjoyed the great outdoors and was an avid skier, enjoying this sport with his family.  Matt also enjoyed snowmobiling, fishing , Hot Air Ballooning and panning for gold.  He was a hunter, enjoyed cooking and restoring vintage tractors and cars.

A Celebration of Matt's life will be held on Friday, April 26, 2019 at 11:00 am at Parker Funeral Home, Inc. 10325 Parkglenn Way, Parker, CO 80138, a reception will follow.

He was predeceased by his brother, Andy Vork.

He is survived by his parents, Dan and Laura Vork, Castle Rock, CO and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
