Margaret Watson (Munro) McDowell

Margaret W. McDowell, age 88 of Centennial, Colorado, peacefully entered into Heaven on Easter morning, April 4 2021, after a stroke.  Margaret was born on July 8, 1932, in Edinburgh, Scotland.  She attended Leith High School in Leith, Edinburgh.  As a young lady, Margaret traveled from Scotland with her family and settled in California.  Margaret married Richard McDowell in Carmel, California, on September 6, 1958.  Margaret and Richard raised their family in California, Illinois and Colorado.  She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 62 years Richard, as well as her sons:  Rob, Jim (Meg) and Ken (Euneris).  Margaret was a proud grandmother to Sean (Jenny), Ryan, Laney (Jed), Trent, Lily, Katha, Kyle, Bradley and a proud great-grandmother to Kara.  Margaret, who was an avid tennis player most of her adult life, was known by all as a classy lady who dedicated herself to her family.  Margaret is preceded in death by her loving parents, Jessie and Pete Munro, and her brothers Leo, Pete and Jim.  Margaret will be deeply missed, but her family rejoices that she is in the presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
