Lisa Rayne (Lewis) Hicks, age 53 of Parker, Colorado passed away peacefully on March 5, 2020. Lisa was born in Waukegan, Illinois, but grew up and spent her adult years in the Parker area. Lisa was part of the first graduating class from Ponderosa High School in 1984. Lisa worked at the Parker Safeway store in various capacities during her 34-year career with the store. She valued and cherished the many bonds and friendships she made with co-worker and the customers she met over the years. Lisa touched the hearts of many and will be deeply missed by everyone that knew her.
Lisa was an avid lover of animals and had an almost “animal-whisper” quality about her. Even at a very young age, animals of all kinds seemed to gravitate towards her. Anyone that knew Lisa knew that her fur babies (a/k/a, her dogs) where her life and source of great comfort as her health declined. Lisa loved working on craft projects and anything in which she could use her artistic abilities. She was a Denver Broncos fan and loved when she could wear her Broncos garb to work.
Lisa was preceded in death by her father, David, and is survived by her mother, Marjorie, her three younger sisters Dawn (Eric), Denise (Tim), and Valerie and her younger brother, Darren. She is also survived by her nieces, Lindsey and Katelyn, and her twin nephews, Adam and Jacob.
A private family service/celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the family c/o Marjorie Lewis, 19726 Applewood Ct., Parker, CO 80138.
