Lisa Hayes Obituary

Lisa Smiley-Hayes, daughter of the late John and Glenva "Scotty" Rosenbach was born on November 18, 1963, in Denver, Colorado.  Lisa entered the Title Insurance Industry as a Title Closer shortly after high school and worked in this profession for most of her adult life.  Lisa had a reputation for being the ultimate professional working diligently, solving issues that arose, to get her clients to the closing table, and ensuring all contract dates were met.  Lisa led the way in and specialized in short sales in the early 2000’s developing the Short Sale Department during her time at North American Title.  Lisa’s loving and caring personality built lasting relationships and friendships with both clients and co-workers.

In her spare time, Lisa loved to watch HGTV and the Food Network for recipe ideas.  Nothing made Lisa happier than recreating a recipe she saw on Food Network for her friends and family to enjoy. Her attention to detail and the love she poured into each meal, ensured a delectable experience for anyone lucky enough to be invited to her table.  A devoted animal lover, Lisa rescued several cats and dogs over the years, her most recent rescue was Tootsie, a spunky chihuahua who never left her side.

Lisa passed away at home on Saturday May 27, 2023.  Lisa was proceeded in death by her Father John Rosenbach and Mother Glenva "Scotty" Rosenbach, as well as her sister Christine Monroe and first husband Jerry Hayes. Lisa is survived by her husband Johnny Stampley, sisters Cyndi (Sean) Tiefel of Aurora, Colorado, Laurie (John) Mullis of Apollo Beach, FL, Kari Rosenbach of Denver, Colorado, brother in law Mike Monroe of Elizabeth, Colorado, son Samuel Wayne Smiley of Arvada, Colorado, step-daughter, Amanda Stampley and two step-grandchildren Raelynn and Elizabeth, nieces Kaitlyn and Lacey Tiefel, and Rhiannon Curry, nephews Kyle (Erica) Monroe and Toby (Kyla) Shevlin, great nieces Arya and Freya Shevlin,  Courtney Shevlin-Ferraro, Rebekah Monroe, and great nephew Callum Monroe.
