Kelli Rene Rasberry

Kelli Rene Rasberry, was born September 4, 1974 in Lampasas, Texas. She passed away surrounded by her family on September 8, 2022 due to complications from esophageal cancer that she was diagnosed with in March 2022.

Kelli graduated from Bartlett High School in Anchorage, Alaska in 1992. She lived in Alaska working as a Medical Assistant and raising her son, Jake until 2010 when they moved to Alamagordo, New Mexico. She continued to work as a medical assistant for the VA while in New Mexico. In 2012, she and Jake moved to Castle Rock, Colorado to be close to her parents, David and Sandra Rasberry and her sister, Jenni Rogers and family.

Kelli was happiest spending time with her family, friends and sweet dog, Sully. She was a girly girl. She loved shopping, make up, perfume and purses. Once Kelli loved you, she loved you forever and was very protective of those she loved. She gave the best hugs and loved to laugh. Kelli had a heart of gold.

Kelli was a medical assistant for over twenty years. She was excellent at what she did. She used her skills many times to make sure her family was healthy and well cared for medically. Kelli made countless friends throughout her years working in the medical field, many who became family to her. There was nothing she wouldn’t do for her friends and family.

Family meant the world to Kelli. She was a wonderful mother to her son, Jake. She adored him and was so proud of the young man he has grown up to be. She also loved her 5 nieces and nephews, Tyler, Emily, Luke, Olivia and Kaleb like they were her own. Kelli was a mama bear through and through.

Kelli is preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Chester and Nettie DeWeese, paternal grandparents, Jim and Mildred Rasberry, and sister, Megan Clifton. Kelli is survived by her parents, David and Sandra Rasberry, her son, Jake Rasberry, sister, Jennifer Rogers and husband Curt Rogers, nephews, Tyler Rogers and wife Marissa Rogers, Lukas Rogers, and Kaleb Clifton, nieces Emily Rogers and Olivia Clifton, maternal Aunt Janet Sanguinet, and paternal Uncle Robert Rasberry and wife Wanda Rasberry.

Kelli will be missed by many. May she rest in peace.

Kelli’s service will be held on September 17, 2022 at Crossroads Community Church at 11:00 am.
