A beautiful soul Kathy went with the Lord October 28, 2019. Kathy was preceded by her folks Dayton and Lola (Sandoz) Sharp and her Nephew Gabe Schreiber. She is survived by a very loving family, Husband JW Culbertson, Sister Linda Garland and Husband Mike, Sister Kay Schreiber and Husband Gerald, Brother Tim Sharp and Wife Patty and Sister in Law Candy York and Husband Gale. Kathy’s Nephew Matthew and Niece Kirsty, Linda’s children, her Niece Robin, Kay’s daughter, her Nieces Sara and Kari, Tim’s Daughters and her Nieces Emily and Erin Candy’s Daughters. Kathy was born in Woodrow Colorado and raised there on the family ranch. Kathy was a remarkably strong faithful Christian and placed her life in the hands of the Lord. She was very committed to family and spent as much time as possible with them and would do anything for them. The kids considered her the cool Aunt because she would ride all of the rides at Elitch’s with them. Kathy was an avid SCUBA diver and received a special commendation from the United States Secret Service, Presidential protection unit for training their agents in survival swimming during the Reagan administration. A lifelong dream of Kathy’s was to visit the Holy land and walk where Jesus walked. The Lord granted her dream and she was able to travel to Israel twice which she described as life changing. She was baptized in the Jordan River, walked on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, prayed in the Garden of Gethsemane and studied the Bible and worshiped in the Upper Room. Kathy will be missed every minute until we join her, she is a beautiful soul. Kathy adored her Church Family and until unable attended every service as well as being a member of the cleaning Ministry.
Kathy did not ever seek attention or recognition and requested that in lieu of flowers donations be made to Calvary Chapel Parker 10831 S. Crossroads Dr., Parker, CO 80134.
