Judith Lehn Obituary

Judith Elaine (Allen) Lehn (1950-2020)- passed away unexpectedly in her sleep at her home in Elizabeth CO, on November 24, 2020. Judy was born at Boulder Community Hospital to Kenneth Allen and Evelyn (Nielsen) Allen in January, 1950. Judy graduated from Englewood High School in 1968 and soon after at the age of 18 married her high school sweetheart, Fredrick E. Lehn. Judy and Fred moved to Elizabeth in 1979, raising their three children in the “country”. From 1984-1992, Judy was the co-owner of Paws, a nail salon/clothing boutique located in Elizabeth. Judy embraced being a young grandma and was always available to assist with childcare and doggy care over the last 30 years. In recent years, Judy volunteered at a local thrift shop as the proceeds went to domestic abuse victims. She was also passionate about politics and would regularly protest when she saw injustice. Judy was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, friend, and neighbor always there whenever needed. Judy is preceded in her death by her sister, Kay Knox, and her mother and father. She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years- Fred Lehn of Elizabeth CO and her three kids Marcy (Cory) Nicholas of Longmont CO, Lisa (James) Mostek of Englewood CO and Jason (Armantine) Lehn of Littleton CO; her Grandchildren - Jordan Kimerer, Parker Nicholas, Tyler Nicholas, Rachel Mostek, Jake Mostek, Evelyn Lehn, Diesel Lehn and her Great Grandchild Hadlee Kimerer; her nephews Kevin Knox, Mike Knox and Darren Knox; great-nieces/nephews and great-great nieces/nephews. We miss her. A celebration of Judy’s life is pending and will be held at a later date.
