Jose David Martinez

Jose David Martinez, 48 of Aurora, passed away while on a camping trip July 2, 2020.

He was born May 30, 1972 to Kevin Ott and Sandra Martinez in Denver, CO.   Jose worked in the construction field for 31 years and was the general superintendent with Global Underground at the time of his passing.  When he wasn’t busy at work, you would find Jose spending time with his family and having a good time.  His many hobbies and interest included hunting, fishing, golfing, camping, pool and bowling.  Always the jokester Jose loved to make people laugh.

He is survived by Tawna, his life partner of 22 years; mother Sandra Ott, father Kevin Ott, children; Chris (Brionna) Martinez, Dillon Martinez, Allysa Martinez; brothers Toby (Shelly) Martinez, Chris (Kim) Ruby; grandchildren Jayden, Quintyn, Autumn and Ciara; nieces Megan and Madison and nephews William and Maxwell as well as numerous aunts, uncles and other family members.

Viewing and visitation will be held from 10am-1pm, Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at Parker Funeral Home, 10325 Parkglenn Way, Parker, CO 80138

A celebration of life will be held at a future date when all can gather together.
