Joan Mary (Anderson) Pinnell

Joan Mary Pinnell, 79, passed away at her daughter's home in Aurora, CO on July 16, 2021.  She was born on February 13, 1943 in Rockford, IL, the daughter of Stanley Anderson, MD and his wife, Margaret Turner.  Joan attended Mt. St. Clare College in Iowa, where she received a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education.  

She loved horse back riding and showing horses, arts and crafts, sewing and synchronized swimming.

She is survived by her children,  daughter, J. Michelle Pinnell-Lima, Aurora, CO, son, Michael Anderson Pinnell, Elizabeth, CO, daughter, Kathleen Ann Pinnell, Fort Collins, CO; granddaughter's, Elizabeth Anderson Pinnell, Elizabeth, CO and Kassandra Anne-Marie Pinnell, Aurora, CO; niece, Stephanie Elizabeth Anderson, Santa Barbara, CA.  She was predeceased by her husband, Robert William Pinnell; brother, Stanley E. Anderson, Jr.; father, Dr. Stanley E. Anderson; and mother, Margaret T. Anderson.
