Jennifer Friedberg Obituary

Jennifer, age 44 was born in Syracuse, New York on May 10, 1977 to Colleen Friedberg. Jenny grew up in Kirkville, New York surrounded by her loving Mother, Grandparents Lori(Rudy ) Friedberg, Uncles Rudy (Anna), Jeff(Sandy), Aunts Penny(Jack), Judy(David) and cousins Kelly, Christina, Caitlin, Cassandra, Benjamin, Jessica, Timothy, Stephanie, and Nicholas. She attended East Syracuse – Minoa Central School District, continuing her education at Onondaga Community College receiving a Associates Degree in Criminal Justice then going on to attend the upper divisional school at SUNY Institute of Technology at Utica-Rome in New York, graduating with Honors in 1999 with Dual Bachelors Degrees in Criminal Justice and Technical Writing.

While at SUNY Utica-Rome she met her future Soulmate, Lifelong Companion, Love of her Life and Father of her Children, Robert Stout of Rockland County, New York.

Once her studies were complete she toured Europe for a month and then joined the workforce, starting at Northrop Grumman, then Alumni Consulting Group, ITEC, Nelnet and stepping away from the work force to raise their two daughters.

Their first residence after college was in Chili, New York where they worked full time in their educated fields and then on weekends you could find them at the Rochester and Brockport Farmers Markets selling fresh made donuts under their first owned and operated business called Coastal Concessions.

In 2007 Jen and Rob moved from New York driving cross country to Colorado starting out by living in Lakewood, then Littleton and finally in 2011 they established a home in the Stonegate Section of Parker.

Jen and Rob enjoyed spending time together motorcycling, biking, hiking, rock climbing, skiing and traveling the islands with the most memorable trip being Grand Cayman were Rob surprised her with a proposal of marriage at Seven Mile Beach.

Their girls, Sydney(12) and Sienna(8) were both born in Colorado and are the light of their lives. Although both girls are competitive gymnasts they also like skiing, jumping on the trampoline, motorcycling, biking, swimming, traveling especially to Mexico and simply hanging out with mom and dad.

Jen was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it, she never said no to her family or friends when they needed her help or support. Although she may have been fashionable late to all events she always brought joy to the room.

Despite the great discomfort she endured during her ongoing battle with cancer her courageous attitude never waivered.  Jennifer would like to be remembered as an adventurous, funny, sensitive, strong woman, who loved and cherished all her family and friends.  Or as Robert says one bad a** woman.

Proverbs 21:21 Whosoever pursues righteousness and love, finds life, prosperity and honor.
