Javier Solis

Javier Solis "Taty", 72, peacefully passed away at his home in Parker, Colorado on Tuesday, April 19 after a long battle with dementia. Javier was born June 5, 1949 in San Pedro de las Colonias, Coahuila, Mexico. He married his wife in 1969 and in 1974 he moved his wife and 2 children to Chicago, Illinois to give them a better life. There they had a third child. After years in Chicago in 1985 they moved back to Mexico to be close to family. And in 1999 they decided to move back to the U.S. and moved to Colorado. Javier was a Roofer and loved his job, he was a hard worker and loved his family very much. He was a great husband, father, and grandfather. He will be missed.

Javier leaves his wife of 52 years Ermila E. Solis, his son Julio C. Solis, his daughters Diana K. Solis and Azalia Contreras, his son in law Javier Contreras, his grandsons Julio C. Solis, Javier Solis, Alan Solis, and Isaac M Contreras, his granddaughters Andrea K. Contreras, and Alicia J. Contreras.
Brothers Jesus, Mario, and Sergio Solis, and Sisters Marta, Magdalena, Alicia, and Beatriz Solis.
And many nieces and nephews who loved him very much.

Javier was preceding by his father Nicolas Solis, his mother Socorro Carrillo, his sister Bibiana Solis, and brother Enrique Solis.

Services will be held at Parker Funeral Home starting with a viewing at 11:30 am followed by a mass at 12:30pm. 
A reception will be held following the service will be held at Azalia's home at 10237 Democrat Rd. Parker, CO 80134.
