Jane (Roudebush) Speckman

Jane Roudebush Speckman, 88, of Parker, Colorado, passed away November 17, 2023 at Morningstar of Parker. She was born November 6, 1935 in Topeka, Kansas to Edgar and Eleanor Roudebush. She attended Topeka schools and graduated with a degree in Elementary Education from the University of Colorado, where she was a member of Pi Beta Phi sorority. Over the years, she taught for Denver County Schools and Douglas County Schools. On May 2, 1964, she married Gerald Speckman. He preceded her in death in 1994. Jane was listed in “Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers” and “Who’s Who Among America’s Women.” She was a member of Pi Beta Phi Alumnae, American Association of University Women, Red Hat Society, and her fun “lunch bunch” and Bunco groups. Jane is survived by daughters Susan Speckman diZerega and family of Lawrence, Kansas, and Stacey Speckman Page and family of Morrison, Colorado.
