Ingrid Dorothea Seuren Semmens, 75, of Parker, Colorado, passed away on February 4, 2020; her mother's birthday. She was born in Geldrop, The Netherlands to Anton and Dora (Mulle) Seuren on April 18, 1944. Ingrid attended High School in Breda, The Netherlands. She married Horace ("Shep") Semmens on September 29, 1966. She was wife, a homemaker, and worked in sales. Ingrid loved gardening, quilting, crocheting, and traveling. She enjoyed knitting baby blankets for the local children's hospital, and quilting with her friends in Texas. She loved her family and friends and her little dog, Joey. She was always happy even though the last 15 years she was in pain and poor health. She always had a smile on her face and found something in each day to be happy about. She was a lovely human being and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Ingrid is survived by her daughter Karin Davidson, son-in-law John Davidson, granddaughters Sydney and Samantha Davidson, a sister Karin Kroese of The Netherlands, brothers Rolf Seuren of The Netherlands and Fred Seuren of Australia as well her step-children Tracy Novinger, Candace Kane, and her many step grandchildren: Sonia, Dustin, Chris, Natalie, Tim and Adam.
A Celebration of her Life will be held on April 18, 2020 to remember her. It will be an informal gathering at the Laughing D Farm. The gathering will begin at 12noon.
