Helen Louise See

Helen Louise See, age 75, of Parker, Colorado Passed away on August 29, 2020.

Helen Louise Wolfe, daughter of the late Dale and Margaret Wolfe of San Francisco, California was born on October 25, 1944 in San Francisco, California. Helen, graduated Cal Western College with a Sociology Major. While at Cal Western she met the love of her life Robert (Bob) See. Bob says from the moment he saw her, he knew she was the one for him. 

Helen and Robert were married on August 13, 1966 in Burlingame, California with many friends and family members by their side. While Helen continued her education at Cal Western, Bob was sent away, as his duty called with the United States Air Force Air National Guard. Once Bob returned they moved to Farmington, MN where they had their first son, David in 1971. Bob’s job transferred them to Colorado, where they had their second son, Michael in 1973. Bob’s job transferred them to Houston, TX; Cheyenne, Wyoming; and Back to Colorado in 2003. 

Helen and Bob were fortunate to live close to their children and watch their grandchildren grow up. You would always find Helen (and Bob) at their oldest grandson’s (Trevor) band concerts and performances or you would find them at a hockey rink cheering on their youngest grandson (Preston). 

Helen loved the mountains and enjoyed spending time at her home in Frisco, Colorado. She enjoyed hiking, boating, reading on her deck and fishing at the Lagoon. She also enjoyed the warmer weather in Lake Havasu during our winter months here in Colorado. Helen had many friends near and far that will greatly miss her. She would speak highly of her book club and bridge friends from the Canterberry group, these folks have been a blessing to both, Helen and Bob for many years. 

Helen was one of a kind, she was a fantastic mother, wife, sister, daughter, grandmother and mother in law. She was a gracious and kind lady that thought of everyone else before herself. Helen was also a fighter. She battled leukemia for the past year with dignity and grace, while continuing to think of others before herself. 

Helen is survived by her husband Bob, Sister Carol Wolfe of Dayton, OR, Brother Gary (Patti) Wolfe of Pebble Beach, CA; Son, David (LeAnn) See of Parker, CO; Grandson Trevor See of Parker, CO; Grandson Preston See of Langley AFB, VA; And Nephew Eric Wolfe of Burlingame, CA. 

Helen was predeceased by her son Michael See and parents Dale and Margaret Wolfe.
