Our Gioi’s life on earth spawned many parts of this planet… some wonderful, some not so wonderful, but she weathered them all, and found her way into our lives and made them all more beautiful. Gioi was smart, resourceful, caring, giving, loving, tender, the most amazing mom, and charming wife, a child of our lord and savior, not to mention crazy sexy. She never stopped giving, even when she had nothing. Her childhood was nothing close to easy, but she didn’t ever let that affect the way she loved everyone around her. It gave her peace spreading genuine love and compassion. Gioi came here from Vietnam during the Tate offensive knowing little English then succeeded in graduating from the University of Kansas. Then working for numerous tech companies acquiring the most complicated electronic products, some of her purchases were in the billions. Gioi was a certified member of the “National Association of purchasing Manager”. As a mother Gioi always put her family first. She would give anything and everything to make sure that her three daughters never longed for a thing. She took joy in little moments that she shared with her daughters and made sure they all knew they were loved, and could not be proud. The Lord sent her to be a nurturing mother and she exemplified everything a mother should be and more. Her greatest joy in life was to be a mother, and it showed. She loved unconditionally with no end, supported the people she loved no matter what. Gioi was the most beautiful mother and our favorite person in the world. There was not a thing she would not do for her three daughters and family. If the girls were out late with friends, Gioi would stay up until they got home safely. If Savina wanted her to make fried rice or pancakes, she would without any hesitation. We will all miss how much she cared for everyone around her. Anyone who knew her knew they could always count on her to be there no matter what and despite any circumstance. Gioi always wanted her daughters to be kind to the world around them, she was the hardest worker any of us knew. Gioi wanted the absolute best for her daughters and wouldn’t settle for anything less. We will miss her hugs and being able to make her laugh. We will never stop missing and loving our momma for all of eternity, and we can say that we will spend the rest of our lives living so that she may live through and with us. Her memory will live on though each and everyone of us and just because we can’t see her and speak to her, her and love will always remain with us.
