Evelyn Jean (Koss) Sorensen

Evie Sorensen, 75, passed away at her home in Parker, CO.  She was born on March 16, 1947 in Racine, WI.  She was an only child and graduated from Lutheran High School in Racine. Evie was a business owner in Iron River, WI where she ran a resort with her partner Randy Magee. She moved back to Colorado to be with her son Dayn and many grandchildren.

She loved everything sports. She spent her days watching the Denver Broncos and Colorado Rockies. She had a deep love for dogs and showed them in the late 70s thru the 80s. She enjoyed puzzles and was phenomenal bowler.  She enjoyed her cups of coffee during the day and the occasional margarita! She loved the Beatles and the Doobie brothers. Most importantly she adored her family and loved everyone to pieces.

Evie and her son had an unbreakable bond. She showered her family with love and often put their needs ahead of her own. She was thoughtful, caring and brightened up everyone’s day who was close to her. She was a constant rock. 

She is survived by her son, Dayn Sorensen; 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Evie was predeceased by her daughter, Kimberly; and great granddaughter, Joanna.
