Eric Johnson, known to his family and friends as Rick, was born in Denver, Colorado. He was the second son to Carl Johnson and Vergene Johnson. Rick took great pride in his parents as Carl served in the Airforce and his mother became successful in politics. Rick was raised in Littleton, Colorado and graduated from high school there. During this time, he developed an interest in music, motorcycles, and the outdoors.
Rick met his future wife Cindy Johnson shortly after high school. They were married in May of 1981. Rick greatly admired his stepparents, Glen Beiter and Jerry Beiter, who built a ranch in New Mexico that they would spends many summers enjoying together. Rick and Cindy welcomed their only son, Sean, into their family on October 4, 1986.
Rick earned a certificate from Colorado Aerotech which he used to have a successful career supervising and doing electrical and mechanical jobs throughout his life. He bought his first house in Parker, Colorado. There Rick enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, being outdoors in his Jeeps or on his boat, and spending time with his many pets. Eventually he purchased a townhouse in downtown Parker where he would spend the rest of his life. There Rick rediscovered his passion for motorcycles.
Friends and family will remember Rick as an intelligent, charismatic, thoughtful person who took the time to appreciate comedy in life and to help a friend or loved one in need. Rick is survived by his wife Cindy Johnson and his son Sean Johnson.
