Dorothy Elrod

Dorothy Louise Elrod, 80 passed away at home surrounded by her loving family June 17, 2020.

She was born April, 1940 to Jacob and Elise (Rohn) Reichert, Jr. , in Windsor, Colorado.

Dorothy graduated from Greeley High School with the class of 1958.  She was a payroll specialist and bookkeeper throughout her working career.  Never one to be bored, Dorothy had many hobbies and activities.  Among those she loved card games, Mexican Train Dominos, Uno, Skipo and Bunco.  Dorothy loved her family and getting everyone together for family reunions where she sharpened and updated her Genealogy records.  If you needed to know the family history, Dorothy was the one to ask.

Dorothy is survived by her children, Kevin Franklin, Kelly Deering, Shelly Pixton; grandchildren, Derek Fisher, Jacinda Fisher, Cora Pixton, Kyler Franklin, Jordan Fisher, Shayna Franklin; sisters, Doris Schaefer, Pat Brunner, Janet Rudd, JoAnn Terrier; brother, Marvin Reichert; nieces and nephews, Tamara, Rodney, Jennifer, Gary, Christina, Jolene, Brett, Kyle and Ashley.

She was preceded by her parents, sister Margaret Reichert, brother Larry Reichert and daughter Sheri Fisher.

A Celebration of her life will be held from 11am to 2pm, Thursday, June 25, 2020 at First Baptist Church of Eaton, 228 2nd Street, Eaton, CO 80616 with Pastor Kendal Frankiewich officiating.
