Donald “Don” John Macek, 80, of Parker, CO passed away peacefully Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at The Suites of Parker of natural causes.
He was born October 30, 1938 in East Chicago, Indiana to Joseph and Anna (Kmiecek) Macek. After high school, Don enlisted in the Navy Air Forces serving his country from 1956 to 1960. Using his skills from the Navy, he spent his working career as an electrician in the manufacturing industry.
When Don was working he found enjoyment from bowling, playing tennis, watching baseball and doing Crossword Puzzles and was a lifetime member of The Elks Lodge #2190.
Don had been a resident of Hammond, Indiana and San Fernando Valley, California before moving to Parker, Colorado to be close to his daughters; Tammy and Cindy.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his daughters; Tammy (William) Cole and Cindy (Michael) Leininger both of Parker, Colorado; ex-wife, Donna Macek; grandchildren, Christopher, Jonathan and Nicholas Leininger; brother, Raymond (Jeannie) Macek and nieces, Sandy, Kathy, Kristen, Lauren (their husbands and kids). He was preceded in death by his parents.
