Caroline Lynch Obituary

On Monday, October 28, 2019, beloved, wife, mother, grandmother, and sister Caroline Marie Lynch passed away.  She was born on May 13, 1948 in Norwalk, Ohio to Margaret (Homan) and Lawrence Charles Hilson. She grew up with her sister Betty in Norwalk where their father was Chief of Police and their mother was the Mayor’s secretary. She graduated from Norwalk High School in 1966 and went to Bowling Green University where she met her husband Thomas Lynch. They married on August 12, 1967 and had two sons, Thomas and Christopher.

In 1979 Tom and Caroline fell in love with the mountains of Colorado and decided to leave Ohio and move west. Evergreen Colorado became the family’s home and they all grew to love the mountain lifestyle. When the boys were young she completed her education with a Bachelor of Arts from Metro State University. After working as a social worker in Ohio, she moved into the real estate industry in Evergreen,CO. After the boys were grown she and Tom moved to Seattle Washington, Irvine, California and Columbia, South Carolina with her job with Fleet Mortgage.  With the birth of her grandson in 1999 they decided it was time to come home to Colorado and she came to work with Home American Mortgage and settle in Parker, Co. 

Caroline loved spending time gardening, skiing, and playing golf. Upon moving to Parker she become very involved with the United Methodist Church and truly treasured the friendships she made there. Her family was always her priority and she was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. Caroline was everyone’s greatest supporter and a true cheerleader her whole life. She was an eternally positive person who always found the good in every situation.

Caroline was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved son Thomas van Aarle Lynch, III. She is survived by her husband of 52 years Tom, her son Christopher (Susan), her sister Betty (Larry), her sisters in law Patty, Sharon (Bill), Susie (Marvin) and brother in law Jim (Jennie), her grandchildren, Zefan, Kieran, Kelly, and Megan and her many nieces and nephews.
