Obituary
Born on August 26, 1936 in Metz, France, Brigitte Marie Wade passed away March 12, 2023 in Castle Rock, Colorado. After escaping the French occupation as a child during WWII, Brigitte, her mother Pauline Luhde and sister Jacqueline Luhde, immigrated to the United States when she was 15 years old.
Brigitte and her family moved to Denver, where Brigitte met and married her high school sweetheart Douglas Wade and graduated from CU Denver with a Bachelor of Arts. She and Doug eventually moved to Elizabeth, Colorado where they built their dream home to live out the rest of their lives.
Brigitte loved her dogs and cats, flowers (especially sunflowers), classical music (which she played on her radio all day), and all of the wildlife she would watch everyday from her kitchen window.
A service will be held Friday March 24, 2023 at Parker Funeral Home, and will take place at 12:30pm. There will be no reception. Service only.
