Bernice Wilma Knudsen Walhood Muus Saporito, 102, was born on October 18, 1918 in Shotley MN, passed away on December 21, 2020 in Aurora CO. After finishing school in McVille, ND. Bernice worked at a medical office where she was the office nurse, x-ray tech, lab tech and salesperson. When she was not working, she was a member of the Danish American Society and she loved to paint.

Bernice is survived by daughters Mary Jo (John) Scully and Nancy (Paul) Brennan; granddaughter, Kirstine (Todd) Valencia; grandson, John Paul (Michelle) Brennan; great granddaughter Taylor Valencia; great grandsons Brennan Valencia,. Luke Brennan; great granddaughter Samantha Brennan; nephews Jess Knudsen Jr., M. Leroy Pederson, John Westling, Jerry Westling, Steven Knudsen, Lawrence Knudsen; nieces Ileen Westling, Irene Ackley, Carol Jean Dorfler, Sandra Bowman, Janet Stratton, Susan Obermeyer, Kristie Smith, Carol Bost, Lisa Marie Merek,

Bernice was predeceased by her father John Knudsen, mother Kirstine Clauson, brothers Jess Knudsen, Earl Knudsen, Raymond Knudsen, Lawrence Knudsen, sisters Ida Thom, Ella Odegard, Clara Pope, Kamilla Pederson, Joyce Westling and husbands Oran Walhood, J.M., Muus, M.D, Phillip Saporito, and step-children, Suzzette Strand, and Robert Muus and seven nephews and five nieces.
