Aedan Fitzgibbon Obituary

Aedan Rose Fitzgibbon, 17, of Parker, CO unexpectedly passed away on July 23, 2020.  She was born in Denver, CO to Todd and Cheryl (Moody) Fitzgibbon on June 17, 2003.

Though her life was cut short, Aedan enjoyed many life experiences.  She was a model, an artist, an avid snow skier, an accomplished figure skater, a golfer, a talented artist, a world traveler, and a survivor.   She was a beloved daughter, sister, and friend who always put the needs and care of others above her own.

From age 7-14, Aedan was extremely dedicated to the sport of competitive figure skating where she enjoyed great success.  After hanging up her skates, Aedan quickly found an affinity for golf and as a testament of her skill often out-drove her father.  Although extremely talented athletically, Aedan will be most remembered for her amazing talent as an artist where she enjoyed drawing sketches, animes, and portraits using a variety of mediums.  The same care and attention she held for others was often depicted in her art.

During her high school career, Aedan briefly attended Chaparral and Lutheran High Schools, but found attending school online at International Virtual Learning Academy to better fit her educational needs and desires.  She was in her Junior year of high school. Having scored a 1260 on the SAT at only 12 years old, we knew she could become anything she desired.

Aedan aspired to become a lawyer and had visited Harvard, MIT and Boston University as potential future colleges.

She is survived by her parents Todd and Cheryl (Moody) Fitzgibbon of Parker, CO, her sister Riley, also of the home in Parker, CO, her grandmother Dona Fitzgibbon of Lexington, KY, a grandmother Pacharee Coonrod of Milton, FL, her uncle Thomas Moody of Milton, FL, an uncle Scott Fitzgibbon of St. Louis, MO, two cousins Addison and Ava Fitzgibbon of St. Louis, MO, a great uncle Bill Weber of Cincinnati, OH, a great aunt Cindy Frederick of Cincinnati, OH, two aunts Nikki Jeffries and Mandy Jeffries both of Cincinnati, OH as well.

Aedan was predeceased by two grandfathers, Ken Weber and Raymond Moody.

Due to the current COVID-19 restrictions, the Celebration of Life and the Reception following are by PRIVATE INVITATION only please at the family’s request.
