Suzanne Kay Knudsen Shriner, 58, passed away in Parker on June 17, 2019. Sue was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on June 7, 1961. She attended Pomona High School graduating in 1979, and studied for a year at Mesa State College until 1981. Her occupation was as a mortgage lender from 1986-2000. Sue’s hobbies included a membership in the Ladies 9-hole golf association at Lake Arbor Golf Club, being a yoga instructor at Parker Recreation Center, and she enjoyed writing in her journal. Sue leaves behind her husband of 15 years, Rob Shriner.
Sue was predeceased by her mother, Jessie May Knudsen and her father, Jack F. Knudsen. Survivors who will cherish her memories and fun times include her husband Rob Shriner of Sterling, CO, sister Katherine Elizabeth Peters (fiancé Richard Allen Patton) of Thornton, CO, sister Dell Jean Staudt (Curt, husband) of Thornton, CO, nephew Aaron William Richardson, of Newport News, VA, nephew Travis John Knudsen of Eugene, OR. A niece, Danielle Jean Staudt of Thornton, CO. She is also survived by a great nephew Cedar John Richardson and great niece Daphne Louise Richardson, both of Newport News, VA.
Sue had experienced many struggles and triumphs throughout her amazing journey—the greatest being her ability to find greatness in everyone and every situation.
