Rodney Hugh Keith, 72, of Parker Colorado peacefully passed away on June 7, 2019 in the comfort of his own home, with his wife Vivien, two sons, and his dog, Roxy, by his side. He was born in Grand Junction, Colorado on April 29, 1947 to Clancy and Shirley Keith. Rodney graduated from high school in Grand Junction, Colorado and went on to study music at Western State University. He was a talented man in the music field, playing many different instruments. Rodney served in the Navy during the Vietnam War and was a proud veteran. He then worked in the telecommunication industry climbing telephone poles, and eventually working his way into programming.
He married his high school sweetheart, Vivien Spence and they have spent 50 years together. After retirement, Rodney dealt Black Jack at the casino tables in Black Hawk. Playing poker and watching his Broncos were two favorite pastimes. Rodney loved the outdoors and riding his motorcycle, but his true hobby was his grandchildren, watching every game, dance ceremony and event he possibly could attend. He put his family first and foremost.
Rodney was predeceased by his parents, Clancy Wayne Keith and Shirley Keith, as well as a sister, Sheila Keith. Those that survive to celebrate the many special memories and traditions include: his wife, Vivien, and two sons, Jason, and Brandon of Parker, Colorado, a sister, Linda of Ogden, Utah, two granddaughters: Emilee and Kameryn and two grandsons: Cole and Caden, along with many nieces and a nephew.
