Robert Stucker Obituary

Robert “Bob” Price Stucker, 83 of Kiowa, CO died Thursday, October 4, 2018 at the Parker Adventist Hospital in Parker, CO.

Robert was born September 20, 1935 in Ansley, NE, the son of Wayne “Bob” and Hazel (Price) Stucker.  He received his education from Broken Bow High School, graduating with the class of 1954. He served in the U.S. Air Force for 21 years. This lead him to meet the love of his life, Margaret Dora Hudson, at a train station while on duty in England. On April 12, 1958, they were united in marriage in West Walton, England. They had one daughter, Deborah “Debbie” Stucker who has maintained a close relationship with her dad and he was very proud of her.

After Robert retired from the U.S. Air Force, he moved to Aurora, CO and worked for General Electric, Stapleton Airport and DIA until retirement. Later in life, Robert and Margaret moved to their current home in Kiowa, CO.  He showed his love for nature by spending time camping and fishing. One thing he always looked forward to was the many camping trips with his RV friends. They would meet up at many different locations. His hobbies also included anything to do with airplanes.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife Margaret and his daughter Debbie Stucker, along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Bob and Hazel; a sister, Patty (Stucker) Christensen; a brother, Danny Stucker; and his brother-in-law, Marvin Christensen.

In lieu of flowers, “Fire up your RV and kick your tires”- he would have liked that.

Memorials in Robert’s name are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
