Robert Leonard Gehlmann

Robert Leonard Gehlmann,80, of Aurora, CO, passed away on April 22, 2018 in Aurora, CO.  Bob was born on November 20, 1937 in Johnstown, PA, the son of Henry and Vivian Gehlmann.  After high school he joined the National Guard and served from 1956 -1960.  From 1960 - 1961 he was in the Army USAR.  He retired after 30 years with Bethlehem Steel.

Bob loved hunting, fishing and playing golf.  Bob was an avid Steelers, Pirates and Penguin fan.  Most of all, Bob loved spending time with friends, family and grandchildren.

Survivors include son, Robert Gehlmann, Jr., Aurora, CO and his daughter, Jeanette (Michael) Esser, Stafford, VA; grandson, Benjamin (Kelsie) Esser, Dumfries, VA and granddaughter, Kiersten Esser, San Diego, CA; brother Henry (Ruth) Gehlmann, Ashland, OR and sister, Patricia Boring, Johnstown, PA.

Bob was predeceased by his wife, Charlotte June Gehlmann, his daughter Tammy Lynn Gehlmann, parents Henry and Vivian Gehlmann and his sister Mary Heming.
