Rae Alden Behrens, Jr.

Rae Alden Behrens, Jr., age 72, of Castle Rock, CO passed away July 2, 2018. Born in Lakeland, FL, Rae obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry at Stetson University, DeLand, FL and an MBA at the University of South Carolina, Columbia, SC. Rae was a First Lieutenant in the US Army at Fort Jackson, SC.  Rae was an employee at the Xerox Corporation in sales and marketing.  In 1971, he married his wife, Margaret (Margi).  He was a member of the New Hope Presbyterian Church in Castle Rock, the USGA, Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity, and Trout Unlimited.  Rae loved fly fishing, golf, tutoring GED students, studying Spanish, reading, hiking, Tai Chi and earned a black belt in Taekwondo. Rae is survived by his wife, Margi; his daughter, Jill (Adam);  grandchildren, Alena and Brady; sister, Beth (Ray); niece, Sarah and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Rae was predeceased by his parents.

A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, July 9, 2018 at New Hope Presbyterian Church, 3737 New Hope Way, Castle Rock, CO 80109 at 2:00 p.m.

A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at Brookside Cemetery, 501 N. Union St., Tecumseh, MI 49286 at 12:00 p.m., luncheon following the service.
