            Patsy W. Moore, age 81, a resident of Franktown, Colorado, died on March 19, 2017 in Parker, Colorado.  Patsy was born in Abilene, Texas on December 30, 1935. 

Patsy married Leo Moore in Santa Anna, Texas on September 4, 1955.  The minister was her brother, Jim Williams and her bridesmaid, Winona Bradley, became her sister-in-law one month later when Winona married Jim Williams.  Leo and Patsy renewed their vows on their 25th Anniversary and were blessed to have both Jim and Winona in attendance at that ceremony also!

Patsy worked for the State of Colorado as an Accountant and was involved in politics throughout her life.  Patsy worked for several political candidates including Governor Owens, Mike Coffman, and George W. Bush and was able to personally attend the inauguration of President George W. Bush in Washington D.C.

            Some of Patsy’s hobbies and interests included membership in the Colorado Classic T-Bird Club, the Douglas County Republican Women’s Association and the Colorado State Highway Patrol Association.  Patsy also was a member of the Douglas County Historical Preservation Board, the Franktown Historical Society, the American Legion Auxiliary LCW Post 1 and the Breakfast Club.

            Patsy recently participated with her friend Ken Hodge in various AMICA events including performances at the Governor’s Mansion, Parker Days and other venues.

            Patsy was predeceased by her parents, her brothers and sisters, by her Husband Leo Moore on December 13, 1996 and her friend Kenneth Hodge on November 10, 2016.

            Survivors include her son Tommy from Metairie, Louisiana, son David from Highlands Ranch, Colorado and many nieces and nephews.

            Donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in memory of Patsy.
