Pamela Gay Takacs

 Pamela Takacs, age 70, of Canton, Ohio died peacefully at her home in Aurora, CO after a long battle with COPD. In the weeks prior to her death, many people gave their time and energy to help Pam as she recovered from her recent hospitalization. Her family will always remember the kindness showed to Pam during this time.

Pam was born on April 5th, 1947 and was the daughter of the late James Benzel and Rebecca Sharp. She worked in costumer service for United Airlines and area hospitals in Denver, Colorado before retiring in Aurora, Colorado with her Springer Spaniel, Molly.

Pam is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Cindy (John) Ionno, North Canton, Ohio; half-brother, Eric Sharp, Canton, OH; half-brother Jimmy (Sherry) Benzel, Akron OH; Son, Bryan (Nikki) Takacs, Aurora, CO; Son, Josh (Amber) Takacs, Aurora, CO; nephew Tony Ionno, Daytona Beach, FL; nephew Jason (Deonna Frye) Ionno, Ormond Beach, FL; niece Amy Ionno-Carper, North Canton, OH; six grandchildren, Tara, Ethan, Gavin, Liam, Zoey and Haylee.

Pam was an amazing sister, mother and friend who enjoyed painting in her sunroom, playing games with her family and friends, playing with Molly and reading. Pam also loved cooking for family on special occasions and holidays.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 11th, 2018 at 2:00 in the afternoon at the Parker Funeral Home, 10325 Parkglenn Way, Parker, CO 80138. For those who would like to say their goodbyes there will be a viewing promptly at 2:00 with the services to follow. During the service the casket will be closed.
