Nancy McCord

Beatrice Nancy McCord, age 82, of Parker, CO passed away July 21, 2018. Beatrice, who was known as Nancy to her friends, was born September 22, 1935 in Timmins, ON. After graduating high school, she went on to become a Telephone Operator, then moved on to Furniture Sales. But the most important role in her life was as a mother of four children. Nancy was married to Mr. Robert L. McCord for 63 years before his passing. They met as high school sweet hearts and were married in Timmins, ON. Nancy was part of the Hockey Wives Club and enjoyed traveling, hunting, fishing, camping, curling and golf (she even got a birdie!). Nancy was also an avid dog lover. 

Nancy is survived by her sons, Robert A. McCord (Cindy), of Virginia Beach, VA and Douglas J. McCord (Connie), of Aurora, CO; daughters, Maureen Pennington (Don), of Eureka Springs, AR and Cheryl (Bill); grandchildren Ryan, Leigh-Ann, Jason, Matthew, Stephanie, Sandra and Cameryn; and nine (soon to be ten!) great-grandchildren. Nancy was predeceased by her husband, Robert L. McCord, her mother, Maud Oliver and her father, Alfred C. Oliver.
