Michael Joseph Tomaszewski

Michael Joseph Tomaszewski, 72, of Elizabeth, CO, passed away on May 13, 2018 at his home in Elizabeth.  He was born on May 4, 1946 in Chicago, IL, the son of Bruno Joseph and Dorothy Sylvia (Czerwinski) Tomaszewski.

Mike graduated from Taft High School in Chicago, IL.  When he finished high school he served in the United States Marines in Viet Nam from 1963-1967.  He later worked at Ramp Service for United Airlines in Chicago and Colorado from 1968-2002.  After his retirement he worked at Cap logistics as a wildcat driver.

On September 7, 1968, he married Carol Ann Loster in Roselle, IL.  They later moved to Colorado and raised their family here.  Mike was very active with Praying Hands Ranch where he was on the Board of Directors.  He was a member of Full Rut Archery.  Mike enjoyed hunting, fishing and wood working. 

Survivors include his wife, Carol, Elizabeth, CO; daughter, Kerrie (Doug) Daufeldt, Parker, CO; son Brian (Sage) Tomaszewski, Canton, OH; granddaughters, Sierra (Jacob) Gray, Las Vegas, NV, Aspen Graber, Parker, CO, Rowan Daufeldt, Parker, CO and Gracie Daufeldt, Parker, CO; brothers, Thomas (Eileen) Rozhon, Evergreen Park, IL, James (Janice) Rozhon, Tinley Park, IL, Dennis (Maureen) Tomaszewski, Prospect Heights, IL; and sister Darlene (Tom) Smith, Franklin Parker, IL.  He was predeceased by his parents Bruno and Dorothy Tomaszewski.
