Marion Hopping

Marion Hopping (Kipling) was reunited with Our Lord in Heaven on June 5, 2019 at the age of 84.  She passed away peacefully in her sleep with her loving husband of 41 years, George (Fred) Hopping, by her side.  

Marion was born August 13, 1934 in Methuen, Massachuetts to Percy and Hannah Kipling.  She attended Tenney High School in Methuen before moving to Boston with her high school friend.  She spent her career working in the security alarm industry in and around the Boston area and was also the neighborhood Avon Lady in her younger years. Upon retirement, Marion and her husband moved to Parker, CO.  Marion enjoyed traveling with her husband, attending countless number of her grandchildren's baseball games and spending time with family.  She was a huge fan of Boston seafood and Bobby Orr.

She is survived by her husband of 41 years, George (Fred) Hopping, her two children, James (Susan) Doerr and Karen O'Connor as well as 9 grandchildren and their spouses.

A celebration of life will be planned at a yet to be determined time and place.
