Marie Emlen Hochstrasser, 91, of Lexington, KY passed away peacefully October 6, 2017. Marie was a resident of Parker, CO but spent her last days in Centennial, CO. Born in Philadelphia, PA on April 25, 1926 Marie attended Smith College, University of California (UCLA) and University of Oregon, obtaining both her Bachelors and Masters degrees. Marie was an art educator and business owner. She went on to marry Mr. Donald Lee Hochstrasser. Marie is survived by her brother, Arthur Emlen, of Oregon;  her daughters Laura (Reed) Dickinson, of California, Ellie Fischer, of Colorado, Letitia (Todd), of New Zealand; seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Marie was predeceased by her husband, Donald Lee Hochstrasser and her sisters Sally Flaccus and Ellie Myers. Services will take place in Lexington, KY on October 20, 2017.
