Marcie, you left this world too soon. You seemed larger than life itself, and I always thought of you as someone who would be here forever. You seemed to have more than enough energy and determination to fight the good fight for many years, so your passing seems almost surreal. You will be sorely missed by so many whose lives you touched. Your work was not finished, but your legacy will live on and on.........my deepest sympathy to your family. They've lost a loved one.......we've all lost a true warrior.

I am sorry for your loss. Please allow God to comfort you through this painful loss through His promise to care for our dead loved ones in the resurrection at Acts 24:15. Death was not a part of God's original purpose for mankind and that is why it is so hard to deal with this kind of loss. But our loving Heavenly Father has provided a solution to all of our problems including sickness, old age and death through His kingdom{government} in the hands of Jesus Christ our Lord real soon so that we can enjoy the wonderful life He purposed on a paradise earth. {Psalms 37:9-11,29}

Marcie,
I wanted to say a few things I didn't get a chance to in your living years. Thank you for sacrificing some of your childhood and assume a motherly role to me. When I was around 7-8years old and you were 15-16, trying to remain in school. But,instead thought it was more important to pick up what mom had dropped. Although at the time, taking a bath, changing my week old cloths and crusty socks wasn't as important as running the streets of Portland, skipping school, staying with friends or wherever I wanted. Marcie, I was listening and learning. I've completed my educational goals and have many accomplishments.
Events going on with our family at the time was differcult for Marcie. With a big family growing up in a big city, you may encounter an issue or two.
Also, when she returned to school(USM) to accomplish a goal. She was so proud. One time she let me stay in her dormitory in Gorham, where she thought me how to play ping pong. Eventually I beat her and everyone else in the family. Ha!
I will always love and respect you as a sister Marcie.
The last time we spent time together was before our dad passed away. She stayed at my house with her daughter. It was obvious her happiness came from her family and life in Colorado.
Now my beautiful sister Marcie,I have to believe you have found complete comfort and happiness.
I love you Marcie
I'm sure we talk again!
God bless
Your brother

Marcie and I shared many a conversations through patient safety. Although we never met in person. I felt a strong spiritual connection with Marcie. She was not religious, but she had a very high standard of integrity, and a loving heart. Things I loved about her were her forthrightness, her unwavering determination to make a difference, and her optimism. She chose to look for the silver lining. Her ability to communicate was outstanding. I enjoyed reading things that she had written. I can't put words to how I felt, accept to say that I loved Marcie Jacobs. I learned from her. She was feisty and furious when she believed in something, and she certainly never minced words when she disagreed. If you are listening Marcie, I love you, and I'm sorry. I am very sad, and wishing I could have said goodbye. My deepest sympathy goes out to the family.

Marcy was a maverick, so smart and willing to share the wealth of information she found. Marcy brought people together, educated them and inspired us to do the same. She worked hard to be healthy and despite knowing what she knew, she seemed to be happy. Even though I didn't her personally outside the FB group or even well there, I was always impressed with how much she knew and shared.
Thank you Marcy for all you gave. May your example live on in those who will no doubt miss you deeply. Rest in peace knowing what you shared helped many and there is no greater use of a life than that.
Sincere condolences to Marcy's family and friends.

Marci Shea Jacobs helped me to become aware of the dangers of gadolinium poisoning. I suffered a brain aneurysm rupture in 2015, and had to undergo MRI scans afterwards. I gratefully survived, and with Marci's help, gratefully refused gad contrast. She also sent me some lovely lotion and soaps last year, that she made herself. I miss her energy. Love you, Marci. God Bless.

Dearest Marcie,
My love, admiration, and respect for you runs endless. Who among us can fill your shoes and carry the torch ? No one! Strong and fierce in your patient advocacy & safety crusade, a force not to be reckoned with. You were the most passionate and compassionate human being I've ever known. We will fight till the end and ensure your murderes - the MRI radiolgy community (falsely proclaimed 'world experts -Kanal, Prince, etc) the gadolinium drug manufacturers (Bayer, Bracco, Guebet etc ), the FDA and any / all other stakeholders to name a few, will be held accountable to the most highest and severe levels.
Thank you for putting every fiber of your being into such a worthy cause - gadolinium toxicity and illnesses - in spite of how poisoned it made you.
I will love you and remember you forever and a day. Miss you tremendously. Xox.
