Lois May Fisher, of Parker Colorado, passed away in the early morning hours, on October 8, 2019, at Renew at Saddlerock Memory Care facility in Aurora, Colorado.
Lois was born on January 4, 1930 to parents Matilda (Tilly) Grace and Edson (Happy) Warick Hardenbrook in Paradise, Montana where she enjoyed her early years, in this small railroad town, with her parents, brothers, and sister.
When Lois was 16, her family moved to Cordova, Alaska then eventually to Fairbanks Alaska. After graduating, with a class of 7 at Cordova High School, Lois went on to work at a salmon cannery then as a secretary at Artic Contractors and finally worked in the secretary pool at Ladd Air Force Base, in Fairbanks, where she met her children’s father, Robert W. Markie.
Lois and Bob married on April 25, 1954 at Ladd Air Force Base in Fairbanks, Alaska. Bob and Lois eventually separated after many years together.
Shortly after, Lois married Roy G. Fisher in June of 1972, who preceded her in death in April of 1992.
Lois loved music, reading, watching TV and visiting with her dear friends and attending church until she could no longer, due to health reasons.
Lois is preceded in death by husband Roy G. Fisher, her brothers Edson and John (Fat) Hardenbrook and sister Fran Herron. She is survived by brother Dennis (Pete) Hardenbrook and children Shawn D. Markie, Shane R. Markie and Shannon M. Langeberg. She will be dearly missed.
