LeRoy Oliver Herdman

Leroy Oliver Herdman, 76, of Aurora, Colorado, passed away on July 23, 2019.  He was born in Great Bend, Kansas to Charles and Willetta (Gordon) Herdman  on July 17, 1943.  LeRoy was known as a great barber in Hutchinson, Kansas for many years after graduating from High School in McCracken, Kansas, as well as a State Highway Patrolman for many years .  He had his own pilot’s license and enjoyed flying.

Leroy was married to Jean (Crawford) Herdman on February 18, 1987.  LeRoy was predeceased by a daughter, Sharolyn Kristine Herdman, and his parents Oliver and Willetta Herdman, and leaves survivors, son Blake E. (Vicki) Herdman of Lake Tapawingo, Missouri; son Scott E. (Marla) Herdman of Viola, Kansas; brother Harold V. (Janet) Herdman of McCracken, Kansas;  sister Glenda C. (Norman) Pfannenstiel of Hutchinson, Kansas, and brother, Terry L. (Carol) Herdman, of Blacksburg, Virginia.  Also surviving are four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Services will be on Saturday, August 17th at Noon at the United Methodist Church in McCracken, Kansas. (307 1st Street  67556).
