Larry Stamm Obituary

Larry Wayne Stamm was born on April 16th, 1958 to Don and Pat Stamm in Denver, Colorado. He grew up along side his twin sister Linda and older sister Karin. As young children, Larry and Linda were inseparable and as they grew up they even shared the same group of friends and made countless memories together.

In 1989 Larry met the love of his life Lucy at Great West Life, they married on June 29th, 1991. In April of 1995 Larry and Lucy welcomed their first-born daughter Kayla, and 4 years later in June welcomed their second daughter Ashley. Larry was a very caring, loving, and attentive husband and father. From teaching the girls to swim and ride a bike, to embarrassing them with their first boyfriends, he always knew how to put a smile on their face.

Larry was known as a free spirit with a positive attitude, always known to look at the brighter side of things. He loved to joke in any and every situation and always had a way of making those around him laugh. Larry loved the outdoors and especially the mountains. From camping to fishing to simply enjoying the stars he always found the beauty in this world. In his younger years, Larry loved playing golf with his brother in law Don and stepbrother Terry. Larry’s favorite place was Glenwood Springs where he could be found either hiking to Hanging Lake or floating on his back in the hot springs pool. He was a lifelong Broncos fan who passed this love down to his daughters.

Larry is survived by his wife Lucy, daughters Kayla and Ashley, sister Linda, brother in law Don, stepbrother Tim,  as well as nieces and nephews. Larry had a strong faith and although he will be missed dearly, he would want people to smile and laugh when thinking of him and know that he is now with them in spirit.
