Hello all my name is Royzell E Cooper working here at the Air Force base in Colorado Springs and that is where I met Mr. John . Whenever he would come and work on our fire alarm systems he always had a pleasant look on his face I must say it was a face of no worries made me jealous myself. I recall the real conversation me and him had it was around his b-day and he said that his daughter bought him Colorado Rockies tickets and how bad he felt because he worked overtime instead and I truly wish or hope before he left this crazy and unforgiving world that he told his kids how much he loved them because he was always polite when he came into our office and full of cheer . Truly believe people like him are to good for this earth and I wish him and his family peace throughout the rest of their days if any can be found after losing such as good soul . My condolences to the family to read his love for cars and fishing I wish I talked to him even more because it sounds like he had a lot of life in him. God bless you all and and please stay strong and love one another as much as you can .

I just read about the recent death of Jake and I know you, Joan and the Kirby family and loved ones have saddened hearts today. So I wanted to share beautiful scripture where our loving heavenly Father, Jehovah God (Psalm 83:18), promises us that he is going to do away with man's greatest enemy, death. Rev. 21: 4; "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. Isaiah 33:24 guarantees us: "And no resident will say "I am sick," ever again. God's kingdom that Jesus taught us to pray for at Matt. 6: 9, 10 will bring about these wonderful promises, including the resurrection. None of us are guaranteed tomorrow, but we are all guaranteed a resurrection. (John 5:28, John 6:40, John 11:23-25) Also, Titus 1: 2 tells us this promise of a resurrection: "is based on a hope of the everlasting life that God, who cannot lie, promised long ago." Isaiah 26:19 "Your dead will live......And the earth will let those powerless in death come to life." Isaiah 25:8 "He will swallow up death forever. For Jehovah himself has spoken it." For more comforting scriptures please visit: http://bit.ly/1K38EFt. It has given me hope, strengthened my faith and helped me find the answer to Why? I know it will do the same for you. John 17:3 Jehovah God wants you to throw all your burdens on him and he will sustain you in your time of grief. 1 Peter 5:7
Psalm 34:18

Jake and I went to high school together where we shared football games, soccer games, and lifeguard jobs at Wet 'n Wild. To say Jake was an amazing man is an understatement - he was kind to everyone and had the most selfless heart. My sincere condolences to the Kirby family.

I am deeply saddened by Jake's passing. I remember growing up in Orlando with Jake around all the time. He and my brother David were always getting into something. One of the classics I remember was when David went to change the oil on my Mom's Dodge Dart or something minor like that. It turned into David and Jake basically taking the entire engine out and "repairing" it.
My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. I am sure Jake and David are both up in heaven now "fishing" again together.
XOXO Leah
