John Martin Fidrich

John Martin Fidrich, 77, of Elizabeth, CO, passed away on July 24, 2018 at Parker Adventist Hospital, Parker, CO due to complications of diabetes.  He was born on July 10, 1941 in Bronx, NY, the son of Martin and Susan Fidrich.

In 1959, John graduated from Long Island Aviation High School.  At the age of 18 he started his career with United Airlines as a mechanic and retired over 40 years later.  In the early 1960's he was also a reserve Police Officer.  John belonged to the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers and the National Rifleman Association.

John enjoyed radio controlled airplanes and boats.  He was a collector of classic cars and trains.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, August 2, 2018 at 11:00 am at Elizabeth Cemetery, Elizabeth, CO with Pastor Bruce A. Spear officiating.

Survivors include his sons, Martin (Lynne) Fidrich, Elizabeth, CO and Michael Fidrich, San Jose, CA; granddaughters, Kristin (Scott) Schooler, Castle Rock, CO and Alexandra Fidrich, Citra, FL; great granddaughter, Taylor Craig, Castle Rock, CO.  He was predeceased by his parents, Martin and Susan Fidrich and his brother Jim Fidrich.
